Dashboard → API keys → Create key. Choose scopes (read services, read invoices, manage DNS) and the plaintext key is shown exactly once — store it safely.

The public API runs on the same module engine as the dashboard: list your services, invoices and domains, and read or write DNS zones and nameservers (the domains:read and dns:write scopes). Keys are scope-limited so a leaked read-key can never modify anything.
